Privacy Policy

How we handle information you share with us, the analytics used on this website, and your privacy choices.

About this policy

This policy explains how Invalert, a technology service provider based in San Francisco, California, handles personal information connected with this website and inquiries about our services.

Information processed within a client’s custom software, connected accounts or other contracted services is addressed in the relevant client agreement and any applicable data-processing terms. This website policy does not replace those arrangements.

Information we collect

  • Contact information you provide: first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, and the contents of your message and related correspondence.
  • Technical information associated with web requests, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referral information and timestamps. Our hosting and security providers may process this information to deliver and protect the website.
  • Website usage information collected through Google Analytics, as described below.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to your questions, discuss potential projects and maintain our business correspondence. We use technical and usage information to operate, secure and improve the website, understand which content visitors find useful, and prevent spam and abuse.

We may also use information to meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Please do not include passwords, exchange API keys, private keys, wallet recovery phrases or other sensitive account information in a website inquiry.

Service providers and sharing

Website hosting, security, analytics, email delivery and business communication providers process information needed to perform those functions. Our contact form uses Resend to deliver your inquiry to our business mailbox. You can read Resend’s Privacy Policy for information about its practices.

Google processes website usage data for analytics as described in the next section. We do not sell contact-form submissions or share them for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or to advisers and other parties involved in a business reorganization, subject to applicable law.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. It may use cookies and similar technologies to measure page visits and interactions and process information such as page URLs, referring sites, browser and device characteristics, identifiers and approximate location.

Google receives technical information from your browser when its analytics service runs. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy for more details.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. On supported browsers, Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls have different scopes; deleting cookies alone does not necessarily prevent all analytics requests.

This website does not currently change its behavior in response to the browser’s legacy “Do Not Track” signal. Browser privacy settings and blocking tools may independently restrict cookies or analytics requests.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries and maintaining relevant business records. Retention depends on the nature of the information, the status of our relationship, and applicable legal, accounting and security needs. Analytics and provider records are also subject to the relevant service’s retention settings.

We use safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss and misuse. No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Your choices and requests

You can choose not to submit the contact form. If you contact us, you can ask us about the information we hold about you or request access, correction or deletion by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.”

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy authority. We will assess and respond to requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

International visitors

Invalert is based in the United States. Information submitted to us or processed by our service providers may be handled in the United States or other countries where those providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Any transfer safeguards required by applicable law depend on the service and processing involved; contact us if you need more information before sharing personal information.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our website, providers or information practices change. We will post the revised policy and update the date on this page, and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected] or use our contact page. Our Terms of Use describe the website’s scope and include our service and investment risk disclaimer.
